Music Production & Composition
There are some really distinct stages to producing music - from writing, to recording, to editing, to mixing, to mastering. It's hard to say which stage is the most fun or the most difficult, because it changes with every single production!

Narration & Transcription
These two tasks have one thing in common - the need to reproduce a text with 100% accuracy. However, they do differ a lot in execution, with dramatic narration being a real skill. You know when you hear a good narrator!

Mixing service
Ahh, mixing... possibly one of the most enjoyable, certainly one of the most challenging aspects of music production. There can't be many other things in life that require an approach which is 50% art, and 50% science!

In this example, a dense vocal arrangement is carefully treated and mixed to retain clarity on all the elements of the track. Targeted use of EQ, compression and panning results in a great mix.

Mixing a purely acoustic track is not without it's challenges, as the natural tone of each instrument needs to shine through, whilst creating a pleasantly balanced and spacious mix.

Once again vocal clarity and separation are the focus for this example in the R&B genre, and once again it's all about EQ and compression.
